Hackathons, Competitive Code, and Workshops
HappyHacks is a monthly virtual hackathon for young coders from high school to first year university. The hackathon is completely virtual and open to coders of all skill levels. Experienced coders can show off their skills, while beginner coders can explore their ideas and get judged fairly based on experience. Everyone is welcome!
Happy Hackers Programming Challenge is a seasonal coding contest hosted on DMOJ, orchestrated by the dedicated Happy Hackers Foundation. As the seasons change, we beckon young programmers from high school to first-year university to embark on a thrilling journey through algorithms, data structures, and innovative problem-solving. We are committed to fueling a deep-seated passion for coding among the youth, bridging gaps, and fostering dedication. With our entirely virtual format, we ensure that geographical boundaries do not dictate opportunities; every coder, everywhere, stands on equal ground. Whether you’re a coding maestro seeking complex challenges or a budding programmer eager to learn and grow, our contest provides the perfect arena. At HappyHacks Programming Challenge, every season brings new opportunities, and every coder is celebrated. Join us!
Workshops are meant for participants to learn new skills that they will likely use in the future. We invite speakers from incredibly decorated backgrounds to provide information to students. This could include teaching about the use of APIs, robotics or even competitive code; we offer a wide selection of workshops to attend. All workshops take place within the hackathon schedule, meaning that hackers can take a break from the coding and attend some of these!
